Happy Pet Parents

  • Eliza has impressed us with the care, attention, and dedication she displayed as she worked with our senior dog. He has always been selective with dogs and humans alike, but he took to her intuitive nature right away! After only working with him a few times, she picked up on his subtle mannerisms. He was always happy to see her arrive! She was excellent at communicating updates about the day’s adventures. We could count on Eliza to be there on the hottest summer days and coldest winter days alike. If you are considering using her for your pet care, she is sure to meet all of your expectations!

  • Eliza's got a strong vision for how to be in the world--for setting goals and staying true to her ideals. Happily, those goals include working with dogs. She loves dogs. She also knows them. She recognizes each dog as an individual and is skilled at working with groups. She can orchestrate the overall energy so that every dog, big or small, alpha or shy, young or old, can have fun without things getting wild and out of control. She's a hard worker and loves being outdoors. This plus she's got brains and organizational skills. I've found her to be 100 percent reliable. I trust her completely with both my dog and the key to my house. If my dog could write a review, this one would be better yet, and punctuated with sloppy kisses.

  • Eliza has been hiking with my two dogs for more than a year and we have developed an awesome, collaborative relationship focusing on healthy and happy dogs. She brings a gentle and positive energy that quickly calms and leads my dogs to be their best selves. The dogs and I both love and appreciate Eliza’s reliability so that I can rest assured knowing they are taken care of while I’m at work and the dogs eagerly anticipate their hikes by waiting by the door around their pick up time. I have watched many videos of Eliza on the hiking path with the dogs and see them happily responding to her guidance. I really value that she is always assessing the environment and the dogs to ensure everyone is safe and I appreciate that she tries to keep them out of the very stinkiest of places to avoid extra baths. At the end of the hike, Eliza always brings the dogs home, quietly bringing them inside and ensuring they have paws wiped and drinking water available before she slips out the door telling my doggies that she loves them. I find the whole ritual of the hike so endearing and it has been beneficial for my dogs to building social skills and confidence in other humans.

  • 5 stars for Eliza: Bo is our big wild girl with unlimited energy and a very strong prey drive who hadn't been successful at a traditional doggy daycare and couldn't manage a large hiking group. Both times I was told she wasn't having success, I was so worried we'd never find a situation where she could be successful. About a year ago she started hiking with Eliza and it's been great! Not only has Bo found a person that is able to meet her needs, she's even developed some doggie friendships. In addition to Bo, we have an old nervous girl, Pico, that has warmed up very quickly. It's such a relief to know that there is a fun and safe place for Bo to get out some of her energy and someone we can call to help with both of our girls when we need it! Thank goodness for Eliza!
